What we collect
When you shop with us, we keep what is needed to send your order:
- name, address, email address and mobile number
- what you bought, what it cost and which pickup point you chose
- a message, if you write one to us
Card details are handled only by Stripe and are never stored with us.
Why we process your data
- To deliver your order. We need the details to take payment, book shipping and send an order confirmation. This is necessary to complete the purchase.
- For bookkeeping. Receipts and order details are kept for as long as the Swedish Bookkeeping Act requires, currently seven years.
- For customer service and complaints. If you contact us, we keep what we discussed for as long as needed to help you, and during the three year complaint period.
We do not send newsletters or advertising unless you have asked for it, and we never sell your data.
Who receives your data
We only share what is needed with the companies that help us handle the purchase:
- Stripe handles the payment. If you choose Klarna, Klarna also receives your details.
- Shipmondo books the shipping, and DSV or DHL delivers the parcel and sends a notification to your phone or email.
- Resend sends the order confirmation and the order to us by email.
- Cloudflare runs the website and the checkout.
Some of these companies, such as Stripe, Cloudflare and Resend, may process data outside the EU. This is then based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Cookies and browser storage
bibi.se does not use cookies for tracking, statistics or advertising. The only thing we store in your browser is the contents of your basket, so it is still there if you reload the page or cancel the payment. It stays on your device only and disappears when the purchase is complete. Stripe's payment page uses its own cookies so that payment works securely.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- know what data we hold about you and get a copy of it
- have errors corrected
- have data deleted when we no longer need it, unless the law requires us to keep it
- object to or ask us to restrict how we use it
